Alternative information for E.U. residents to Au Pair in the U.K.
What is an Au Pair?
If you are single, without dependant, aged between 18 and 30, and wish to learn of improve a foreign language whilst living with a family and looking after children and helping with household duties.
Requirement
No qualification needed, but the will to learn and be part of a different culture.
Due to visa restriction, we can only place candidates with a European passport.
Duties
The emphasis is on helping with everything concerning the welfare of children and teaching them English.
Countries
We work in association with our local associates in France, Spain and Italy mainly. Note: We do not place without an agency abroad.
Pocket Money
Depending on the country and hours required. On average the pocket money is €50 for 30 h/week to €100 for a full time help.
Seasons
The best time is September for the academic year. It is possible to find positions for 2 or 3 months in the summer when children need to be looked after all day during the holidays.
Charge
There is no fee.
